The mission of the TBS Programming Committee is to develop entertaining and/or educational programs and events that will:

• Provide opportunities for fun and community within our congregation
• Increase membership
• Foster good will amongst the community at large

The Committee works in conjunction with the TBS Men’s Club, Sisterhood and other committees to create a wide variety of family-friendly events that take place at the temple and elsewhere in the area. Some of these include:

• Semi-annual TBS Family Picnic
• Adult Nights Out
• Family Game Nights
• Penny Social
• Sporting events (West Point games, Scranton Yankees)
• On-site Theater Events (“The Flo Show: How I Became My Mother”)
• Family Pool and BBQ
• Chef Demonstrations
• Art Exhibits
• TBS Music Series
• “Reel Judaism” Film Series
• Wine and Cheese Nights
• Business Mixers
• Gardening Days

These programs enrich the familial spirit of our temple community and continue to be a source of joy amongst our members. All TBS members are encouraged to submit ideas and volunteer to bring these programs to life.
