Introducing the new & improved Hebrew High of 5770!. This year's curriculum will include:

• group mitzvah projects,
• a creative journey through the Jewish Life Cycle,
• an exploration of the Holocaust which will focus on issues of personal responses to injustice,
• and participation in a Torah preservation project.

The class will meet at TBS on some Sunday mornings, take a field trip or two, and/or blog from home with Rabbi Shinder and our congregant and professional Jewish educator extraordinaire, Sharon Halper.

This year, Rabbi Shinder is offering an amnesty program to any Jewish teen to join the class.Actually since this is a temple, the program will be called sanctuary. For example, has your daughter never become a Bat Mitzvah? Sanctuary! Is your son new to the community? Sanctuary! Have your children been doing their own thing since becoming B’nei Mitzvah? Sanctuary! No matter what, there will not be a stumbling block put in front of a Jewish child who chooses to learn. Any Jewish teen is welcome to be a part of the Hebrew High Program.
